Technical Support Specialist

BTECH is a leading global provider of sustainable US-based manufacturing and battery monitoring solutions that ensures batteries perform as intended for safety, reliability, and lifespan.  Become a valued part of our team as a Technical Support Specialist, where you’ll deliver assistance and technical solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with technical assistance via phone, email, tech-support ticketing system, and Teams / Zoom to support BTECH’s hardware and software.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly resolving technical issues and providing timely support to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Interface with the service and monitoring departments.
  • Provide field service training both remotely and onsite.
  • Remotely install and configure software for customers.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all BTECH hardware and software products.
  • Create and support technical documentation, including manuals, technical support bulletins, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Assist Engineering with testing prototype hardware and software.

Minimum Education

  • Electronics Technology Degree (Associates) or equivalent experience.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong foundation in basic engineering principles and practices.
  • Hands on experience using basic electronic test equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with good interpersonal skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a working knowledge of databases and computer networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Must be able to work independently and handle multiple simultaneous projects.
