Doing business with BTECH

 

To help you understand how the order process works at BTECH, please review the following steps that detail everything from quotation to installation.

Step #1 - Complete our online Quotation Request Form. This will allow us to properly prepare a BVS® quotation for you based upon your system requirements. If you'd prefer, you can also contact us by phone at 973-983-1120 to discuss your needs with our sales department. When you have accepted our quotation and are ready to purchase...

Step # 2 - Submit your Purchase Order. Submitting your purchase order indicates your acceptance of our quotation. Once your purchase order has been received and your job enters our work queue, we can move to the next step...

Step # 3 - Perform a Site Survey. In order to facilitate the design of your Battery Validation System, we need to gather as much information about the UPS system you will be using. This can be done in one of two ways. You can perform the site survey yourself by requesting a design information form and submitting the required information to us...OR...you can arrange for a BTECH representative to visit your site to gather the information we need to design your BVS®. Typical shipment lead times of 4 - 8 weeks begins after all of the technical information is received by BTECH which clearly defines the project requirements.

Step # 4- Schedule installation and commissioning of your BVS®. Now's the time to schedule your BTECH factory trained installation and commissioning of your BVS®, or make arrangements with your own Electrical Contractor to perform the installation. Please note that commissioning of your BVS® unit MUST be performed by BTECH or a BTECH trained and authorized service technician.

Step # 5- Perform any required work to allow for the installation of your new BVS®. Based on the site information that you provide to us, we will provide you with drawings that show where the BVS® unit will be mounted, and how any required conduit/panduit should be run to allow for the wiring that is required. This is work that is NOT performed by BTECH, but by your company or an Electrical Contractor that you designate.

Step # 6- Take delivery of your new BTECH Battery Validation System! Your new BVS® unit will arrive with all the wiring and connections required to allow it to monitor your battery strings. If you opted for BTECH factory trained installation we'll take care of the complete installation and commissioning of the BVS® for you! Otherwise, you'll receive full installation and operation manuals that take you through the process step-by-step.
